How our volunteers to Nepal help fund our work

Posted: Jul 14, 2014   |   Poverty & Hunger

School Uniforms for Girls

We've been working in Nepal for about a decade, on the ground, doing real projects like hospitals, clinics, schools and support of women and children. Income earned from supporting volunteers helps to fund these projects. Under the US IRS rules, an educational organization can be classified as a charity or 501c3 even though they don't do any work at all on the ground in countries where they send volunteers, or in some cases, very, very little. When you volunteer with us, you are working on our very own project sites and helping to support other projects such as the school uniforms for girls project which you can learn more about here.

Come join us in Nepal. Have a great experience for yourself and see first hand what we are doing for the people of Nepal.
